Hi all,
I finished up the soldering last night, but just couldn't bring myself to staying up any later and test the amp. FIRST THING home from work today, following initial startup procedure! Everything looked OK, and next thing you know we had a guitar plugged in...fantastic! Everything is working great! A little hum when you've got it wide open, but boy that's LOUD if you're running that...it's going to a pair of red and green TT's.
No real big problems in the build, except finding the time! I ran short of shielded cable; I can't see how 3 feet will do it...I got some foil shielded cable for one wire; it seems to be fine.
The VRM is next; any words of wisdom?

Way to go dude! Great amp (they all are).

I ran out of shielded cable on my first build too. The last couple I've built I had some left over.

Congrats on your success. So. more Shielded Cable? 4' should do it. Once around the chassis!
