 Post subject: Help--Very low volume!!

It works, but the volume is VERY low. Like less than 1 watt. Any Ideas?

Start by checking all the voltages & see how they compare to the posted / dcoument ones. Post them here if you can.

When I check the voltages, do I ground the meter to chassis ground even though Im checking vdc?

For DC voltages on the tubes, board - Yes. For AC only sometimes.

How about on the turret board on the + side of the 16uf cap? Or on the pot side of the 2k2 2watt?

Is the jumper underneath, in the right place? Check back for continuity.

Correction, nothing on the 2.2. if I keep the probe on it as it powers up the voltage rises, but then it cuts out and wont give me a reading

Coco is probably right.There's a jumper underneath the board that brings the high DC voltage from the o/p end of the board. It's the dashed line on the color layout print.

Well V1 get's it's plate voltage (1&6) from the + side of that cap I asked about. :?:

Im getting .27 on the point where the .022uf cap and the 470k resistor meet on the tube side of the board just to the left of the 2.2k 2w.
