I just started the Plexi build this week and have been able to work on it only an hour or so a couple of nights this week. When I was putting the faceplate on with the pots I saw the pots have two washers. I am assuming that one goes between the pot and the chassis and the other behind the nut on the faceplate. Of all the things to have a question about so far I was wondering if I should be leaving the washer between the pot and the chassis off, because with it on the nut barely has any threads to grab hold of (seems like maybe a half turn)?

Only use one - on the faceplate side only.
