HI,
Just built another trinity plexi amp, but this time i reversed the layout
so i could mount the chassis upside down in a combo with front facing pots.
I built the turret board up from parts and had to read the schematic from the back,
blank computer screens have there use.
I fired it up and nothing, came back to it today and realised i'd fitted the 8k2w
from the b+ upside down i turned it round and it only works voltages ok as i compared it
with my one.
The pots sweep right to left low to high volume but how do i change to left to right sweep.
Also i fitted a jack socket for a boost switch and using a floor switch and get a little pop
nothing serious but is this ok to use like that or is there a better way.
I'll get some pictures up shortly.
Thanks.

Assuming you bought standard audio taper pots , you must have them wires backwards and the taper will be wrong, that is, the two outside terminals are reversed. Leave the wire(s) on the center lug as is but swap the wires on the 2 other lugs.
Can't help with the "pop" but if you do a seaarch you might find some other references to it.

Not too much you can do about the pop. On the sIII, when we build one, we build a soft switch which solves the problem but it's a big boost on that amp.

Details on that posted in the Resource forum.

Thanks for the help, i'll rewire them and get some pictures up when i've built my combo box.
It already sounds good to me.
I changed to metal film resistors but kept the sozo caps just to see if i hear a difference
with my first build.
