 Post subject: Hot Pin 1 Plate on V1

Has anyone encountered 237VDC on the V1 Pin1 - I'm getting that - normal readings on the other plate .... it works fine but its out of spec with the other charts Ive seen - this is a plexi / 18 watt TMP

That's pretty hot. Great Headroom I bet!!
I'd check the values of the plate resistor, cathode resistor for that triode.

I'm going to run it this way for now - I can dial it back with a bigger resistor and tried it with the swap box I have - but I like the sound on this for now and its within the tube's handling limits so why not....
