What can you tell us about your cool design?

Cool stuff Nathan,
Are all those transistor's driver's for the relays?

I used your sIII boost layout. Pretty similar with a few mods. Subbed some components for values I had, like all the 500k resistors are 470k, etc...

I moved the turret board, impedance selector and output transformer to fit everything in.

The relays, transistors and LEDs draw about 250mA worst case scenario (the board has 4 static states depending on the footswitch selection) so I used the torroidal transformer to power the accessories without straining the amps power transformer.

The TMB volume pot is a push pull for the sIII boost switch. The gain pot will be a diode clipper maybe, haven't installed the diodes.

The expander is kind of like the one on a Traynor YBA-1 but a bit simpler, currently it doesn't have a very strong effect, I think it might need another cap.

Yes the footswitch controls the drivers. The drivers control the LEDs and Relays. The signal path is all in the relays. I used a 100k resistor between the cascade like Stephen did in his build.

Resistors are metal film 1W or higher. No particular reason, I wanted to see what it would sound like with all new style components I guess.

There are 11 coax cables under the turret board :bugeye: . I actually don't have the specs on the cable, it just says made in Japan. I got it at Addison in Montreal, looks like 20AWG or 22AWG. I bought some at Active Surplus on Queen but then magically found this cable in my box of goodies when I actually set out to build this thing.

Haha, why not!? It's a push pull so it'll be off normally. :happydance:

Looks good for sure. Not so sure about the 'Bluesbreakers' CD case tho!
