I just completed a plexi kit and the normal channel works great but there is no sound from the tmb channel. All voltages check out. I initially found a problem where I had connected one of the signal inputs to v1a (pin 2) to the center lug of the termial strip thus grounding it. I corrected that problem but still no sound. Also with both the gain and volume at high settings a loud squeal develops at high treble settings. Please advise with any suggestions.

Have you resolved your issue yet? You can start by re-tracing/re-checking every connection marking them on the layout as you go.

Assuming you've got the amp open on the bench..
With the TMB Master volume turned up half way..do you hear a "pop" when you touch a voltmeter lead to pin 2 or pin 7 of V2? If so then the problem is with V1a or the volume(gain) control. If not then the tone stack/master vol. area is suspect. This assuming also, that you've changed tubes ect.
