Sounds like a nice combination you've selected.
This is a great forum to answer any questions you have, but have patience, some days are a bit slow and it may take a while before you get a reply but you will get one

Hey Thanks for the reply! Can you tell how the slll sounds compared to the 1974 reissue (I've owned two, and just today sold one in anticipation of the slll I've ordered). I realize it'll sound different with 2 tens as opposed to a single 12, but nonetheless your opinion would be appreciated.

I've never directly compared the two, I listened to an early 1974 reissue, then built the first sIII.
I like the TMB over the trem version so I am very happy with the performance and tone of my sIII
