Well....Where do I start? This was my very first build and it was surprisingly straight forward!!! I was looking for a low wattage amp to gig with that had some "bite" as well as some sweet bluesy "cream." I absolutely hate the new production amps that are on the market today. They don't seem to have the magic that the hand-wired amps from the 50's, 60's, and 70's have. After extensive research, I decided to give the Trinity 18 watt TMB a go. Not knowing what I was getting myself into, I had a buddy who has built a few amps on standby to help me through the process. The project only took a few days to complete. I took my time and methodically pieced all the parts together. If you can follow directions and you have a little creativity coursing through your veins, then you can build this amp. Without further ado I present the "Black and Tan."

Nice Job!
May I ask about your choice of 2 Ceramic T.T.s. I know they are a excellent speakers but what was your criteria when looking at speakers?

Stoo,

I have a buddy that has a pair of Tone Tubbys in a Train Wreck and they sound killer. I knew when I heard them that these were the speakers I had to have. The TT's are so rich and warm....it's almost like you can touch the music coming out of them!!! Mine are still a little tight. They need a bit more break in time. At the rate I'm going, it won't take long!!! I highly recommend them.

Coco,

Bad azz is all I can say!!!!!!
