I was wondering if anyone has added an additional filtering after the rectifer I was thinking of adding a 30ohm 500volt filter cap right after the ez81. JGK

By 30ohm I assume you mean 30uF?
Why do you want to do this?

The maximum reservoir cap the EZ81 can handle is 50uF so 60uF (two 30uFs in parallel) won't work. The best you can do is tack on another 20uF on top of the stock 30uF cap.

Your right 30uF had a brain cramp there. I have a little hum in the amp after working on the layout and moving wires and was wondering if an additional filter would help this. JGK

I'd try moving wires (lead dress) and swapping different tubes to reduce noise before making circuit changes (like adding additional filtering).

Increased filtering will change the tone as well as the ripple voltage (noise) too, just so you know.
