18 Watt combo based off Trinity amps sIII V6. I had most of the parts laying around for a couple of years finally got to building it. It turned out to be a really sweet sounding amp with the EL84s providing crunch and the 6V6s running a little bit cleaner. I crammed it all into a beat-up chassis I recovered from another project and into an old Crate cabinet I had around. I initially tried a Emeneice Wizard but switched to the WGS ET65 as its a little sweeter sounding although the Wizard was louder.

I was worried about it being noisy but after doing some lead dressing it's dead quiet with the 6V6s running with a very low hum EL84 side. I've played with all the leads and changed tubes and I think I will have to live with it. Overall I love the sounds that you can get with this little monster. I want to do a little more tweaking and put a small panel on the back to protect the tubes and it sound be done.

Nice job there. What was the chassis size? Figure 17" minimum to fit the amp.

Chassis was 16" x 9" so it was pretty tight I've been playing with tube/speaker combinations and doing some fine tuning overall I've very happy with the way it came out its my 5th amp build. These forums are such a great amount of experience and information. JGK
