It's finished and it sounds awesome. I can't believe how loud it is. The wood is Purple Heart with a Red Mahogany stain. Now it's time to start building the Les Pauls.

Thanks guys. I was a little unsure in the beginning since I kind of designed it as I built it. But it has a vintage look to it that I like. It was the first time I ever did dovetails. But now that it's done I really like it. I am a little concerned about how loud it is though. I can't turn it past three, and I like loud. I just hope I didn't wire it wrong. Is it supposed to be screaming loud?

Voltage Reduction Module. It drops the B+ voltage to get the power tubes cooking at a lower volume, kind of like an attenuator .Start here.http://www.trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1176

Rich/Canada,

That is a beautiful amp. Excellent wood working and great job on your first dovetails. I bet it is heavy, purple heart is very dense but is such a unique wood. I bet it sounds so sweeeeeet.
