 Post subject: Cliff jack seperation

What I want to do is separate the high low inputs on the normal channel. So I can plug into both with out effectively making them both low inputs. I know I ll have to use like a 33k on the high side. I can do the switching on my foot switch. But how to I un wire it

Is it just the one wire that goes from the non grounded side of the 1 meg resistor to the low input jack i have to disconnect and then fix the input resistor for the high side
