with the plate voltage being under 500...would it be possible with the stock tranny to power KT66's in the plexi?

just wondering...i know the tube sockets would have to change...but my gut feeling is, its not possible...

Heater current is the main limiting factor. That along with OT requirements put the KT66 out of reach for the stock 18W circuit.

Tend to agree with kurtlives. Current would be excessive and OT could not handle full power. Two strikes!
