Hi

I just finished my Plexi build. I just wanted to check the voltage with you guys. This is a 220v version so I don't know how that affects the voltage specs compared to the 120v version.

The amp is very nice as far I have been able to test it. No noise at all unless I really turn up the volume and gain, then you can hear some little humming but I believe that is normal.

If you want to have a look at the build I have documented every step here, perhaps it can be of some use for new builders.

I am in no way an experienced builder, this is my first but not my last build :)

So as for the voltage measurement, this is what I've got:

V1
Leg1: 147.3
Leg3: 0.893
Leg6: 142.1
Leg8: 0.905

V2
Leg1: 145
Leg3: 1.336
Leg6: 256.8
Leg8: 143.3

V3
Leg1: 189.5
Leg2: 54.3
Leg3: 84.7
Leg6: 184.8
Leg7: 54.3
Leg8: 84.7

V4
Leg3: 11.55
Leg7: 332.8
Leg9: 317.9

V5
Leg3: 11.55
Leg7: 332.7
Leg9: 317.9

V6
Leg1: 293.4
Leg3: 344.3
Leg7: 293.4

Any value that would be of concern?

Not really. B+ maybe a bit low due to 220V mains but that just browns it out a wee bit. When we use a VRM, we don't notice much difference until B+ is less than 300 so I'd say fine.

Thanks!

I installed the VRM tonight and I got down to about 66 volt at lowest. Very cool modification, I am glad I ordered it :)

I appreciate all your comments and your help on the way
