i still haven't figured out what the issue on my plexi is...and am thinking maybe i'll just rebuild...

but the MKII intrigues me...The Plexi sounded awesome...but the other half of me loves the 70's rock sound...i'm just not a VH guy...the tone clips i've heard are very 'brown' but will it do 70/80's era rock?

Im thinking the plexi is best for you or possibly mix the mkII normal channel into your build. The mkII has a real bite to it.
not sure it needs a rebuild but no doubt that would solve it.
