Well I' try to not be long winded but I have to brag on my new sIII and ask the experts for some advice.
Having never built an amp before, this was a bit of a challenge. But, it rellay came together quite well. Thanks to s2 and Stephen for all of their help and input. The docmentation was super and after reading through it carefully everthing came together. I live about 30 miles from s2 and after I poplated the board I had to take it over to make sure I wasn't all thumbs and installed everything right. Man does s2 have some cool stuff!!

I am using JJ el84, 12AX7's, a Sylvania nos 6ca4 and have been pleased with them so far. I will play with them and get a good ear for their sound and change to something different. I have two 2x12 ADA cabinets with Celestion 75watters. The tone of this amp is incredible. I play a strat and noticed that at higher volume the pickups seem to get in your face on the high strings. Does that seem normal? Maybe I haven't had such a great amp to play through and am experiencing a new response between the guitar and amp. I have played owned a mesa boogie tremoverb and it was nice but a little dark.
I had a squeal in the TMB channel with the volume and MV at 10. So I talked to s2 and Stephen and they suggested that I twist the ot wires and that seemed to take care of the problem for the most part. I guess there is a normal bit of feedback or squeal when you are close to the amp with the volume at 10.
I am thinking of getting 2 tone tubbys, or a BBQ Blue and Silver. Any comments?
