Hi All,

Noobie here. Just finishing up my Plexi Mk II build.

I just finished wiring the output transformer to the impedance selector switch and speaker jacks.

The instructions say to check for a short between the two terminals of the speaker jack. I definitely got continuity. Not surprising, since the four leads from the transformer are all connected.

So I did a resistance measurement. Here’s what I got:

Impedance switch at 4 ohms: ~0.3 ohms between tip and body of jack
8 ohms: ~0.5ohms
16 ohms: ~ 0.9 ohms

When I connected a speaker cable, all of these measurements went up by about .2 ohms..

Does this sound about right?

Readings are about what to be expected. The build looks good too!

I will measure them and post the readings from the next amp I build. Easier that way.
