The figured maple came from Chisolm's Lumber just North of Belleville. Finish is two coats of Tung Oil Sealer and four coats of Polymerized Tung Oil.

Nice job and no not overboard those 18 watters deserve that type of love. I have a couple of really nice flamed red birch boards that came from logs salvaged from Lake Superior that are going to be used for my 18 watt build. Have been fighting back issues for awhile now and woodworking is off the list of things I am able to do. Slowly getting better so next spring is my goal. Your build is what I have in mind so I take inspiration from your beautiful work. By the way still can play the guitar so the amp gets lots of love, and when people come over to play they get a kick out of a bare amp just singing away.
