I have successfully built my sIII and am curious about adding reverb to it to enhance the sound. Any ideas on how to add a acutronics 8ohm reverb tank? The simpler the better.

I'm sure you could do a foldback reverb however you would need half a 12AX7 to recover it. Eddie (erl) did a fair amount of work with foldback reverb and trem, I don't know if he fitted one to an 18Watt though.
Earth to Eddie, Earth to Eddie, come in Eddie..... :P

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been away from my computer for a while ;) I did fit a foldback reverb to my TMB for testing (it was a stand alone unit) and it worked quite well. It is pretty much the same circuit that I used on my Lightning and the Phoenix TR. Here are a couple of pics in my Lightning (I used the other half of the tube for a bias tremolo, that’s what’s on the board)

I did change the pot from 25k to 50k to get a little more reverb, much higher then that and the circuit gets to unstable. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
