Ok....first newbie question here. I am gettin ready to start my first build and am just getting everything ready. My question is this.....what kind of solder and wire will I need? I just purchased a decent soldering station and I have a DMM, but need to get moving on other parts. Thanks in advance.

I use a 20/24 wire for hookup mainly, that is 2mm 24 strand copper I believe, however for my heaters I use solid core cloth covered which I twist together, one blue one yellow, the reason is I can bend this to a particular path and it stays put and I can see which colour goes to which side of the tube heater, necessary? probably not, anal? definately yes.
