Hello all. This is my first post here, but I've done quite a bit of reading. I bought a Trinity Lightning 15 kit from a Hamer Fan Club buddy and built it a few months ago. I love the amp and the kit/docs were great. The Trinity provided head cab is also very nice work. I also appreciate all the knowledge that's been shared here as it was very helpful to me during the build.

I'm in the process of building an 18 watt from a BBQ 6M18TMB kit along with other parts I've cobbled together and am incorporating most of the sIII changes. My positive experience with the Trinity 15 has caused me to have much more faith in the sIII layout than the included one. My question pertains to the master volume. Can I easily omit it by just connecting the lead that goes to the middle lug of the master volume pot to the middle lug of the treble pot instead? It appears to me from other TMB schematics that this is the case, but I was hoping for some reassurance.

Thanks,

Chris

For what it may be worth to someone else, I wired it up like that last night with no master volume and it works fine. I'll crank it at lunch and report back.

Yes, you can follow the similar schematics as other TMBs as this is a variant of them.
