My youngest son & Myself are looking to building an 18 watt kit.
It should be a little more involved than my Tramp, but I think it would be great for him to learn the satisfying accomplishment of building his own amp.
He was wondering if it is possible to modify the 18 watt kits to include different switches to switch between bass/lead brightcap and, tube/solid state rectificatication.
Would it be best to get the Plexi kit or the sIII Kit for doing these mods.
We would be looking to be able to get JTM 45/JTM50 tones, Plexi lead and Plexi bass tones.
I'm going to use a swear word here, kinda like the Ceritone Plexi 51 All Access has.
We aren't asking much, are we?
