should I be grounding this common on the OT from the speaker jacks to the chassis? I have seen a few layouts like this and I am trying to stamp out some hum. I am using cliff style mono neutrik jacks for my speaker out.
thanks

I dont ground the common. Some do.

I never found that it improved the hum level but it could be my overall grounding scheme.
I insulate the jacks and let the common float, only connecting it to the tranny.

I have seen it done both ways, for various reasons, but mine works in all my builds.

yea I found several things that seemed to improve it quite a bit. I just wanted to make sure this amp design supported grounding the common. I guess if it wont hurt I could try it. I guess that was all I was asking.
thanks
