My cabinets for my SIIIv6 showed up yesterday.

I'm the lucky guy that Stephen made the mahogany and maple cabs that have the pictures over in the "dressing room" forum under "Mahogany / Birch 212 and Matching Head". Although the header says birch, they are maple. I don't have a digital camera, so check the pictures out over there.

All I can say is "WOW"! Craftmanship is fantastic, they look better in person than the pictures.

Loaded the 212 up with a Celestion G12H30 and V30 last night and tried the rig out with my LP studio. It puts out a lot of volume compared to the single 10" I was using for testing!

Going to try the R8 tonight.

I just can't say enough about the service and the craftsmanship regarding the cab's and the kit.

Thanks Stephen!

 fixed the maple thing..

The cabs looked nice leaving here. Would have matched a mahoganoy body guitar quite nicely.

Actually it does match the back of the R8 quite nicely. The Gibby is redder due to its stained filler, but I really like the color and the grain on the amp cabinet and extension.

The mahogany stripe in the maple panel on the head was a really nice touch, it dressed things up. The flat sawn maple looks real nice with the plaintop R8.

As you might be able to tell, I'm very very pleased!
