On the last page of your photo builders guide, the scematic, you suggest mods to "fatten" the tone. What exactly does this mean and do?
Lol, my son is now trying to show me, he's getting cd's.
I want a circuit that has a higher gain, but I need that wonderful clean that I chose this design in the 1st place.

Generally, to fatten is to add or accentuate the lower mids and low frequencies. It is the same what happens when you press the loudness button on your stereo.

After you build the amp play it, listen to it, then tweak it if it's needed and you cant get what you want using tone controls. But do it one ]maybe two] part at a time so you know what you changed and what differance it made.
