It's going to be difficult to adjust the Hiwatt to an sIII design
The boards are totally different.
Can be done, but the kicker is HOW?
If coco can do it, it will be awesome.

This is 1 of those projects that, if coco does it, we'll all be going hooray   :D

And I really want him to succeed :D :D :D

GO COCO :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:
:D The new cheer leading section

Tweedl is heating up.

Just talked to John Harrison at Tone Tubby who now has a 4 ohm 8" ceramic Tone Tubby. I'm going to try that in the the Tweedle and compare to the Jensen RI.

Some iron is on it's way from Heyboer as well.

The Tweedle will be the next new product.

After that . . .

So, what's the official final word on TweedLE - trem or no? Reverb or no? Either or neither? Trem in that amp would be VERY cool. And fwiw, I'm still in the stand alone Trinity reverb camp...

If you saw the size of the chassis, you'd agree - plain & simple (LE = Light Edition not Luxury Edition!).

We'll see on the prototype just what can be done. I'm not a big fan of tremolo so don't hold your breath.

Oh, you're killing me over here Stephen... I LOVE tremolo... it's one of my favourite things in guitar-land after distortion...

We'll turn you into a cowboy yet!!!

OK, I won't hold my breath... would a hunger strike work?? I need to lose a few pounds anyway...

well I've already lost 30 pounds, I'd rather not lose more
But, I really do like tremolo. And I like classic rock :D :D
A tele and tremolo are an amazing combo.
BUT!

I really want a 5 watt Trinity   :D :D
Would be so cool :D
And adding a Tone Tubby for the speaker... well... DAMN
Comon, that would be the most awesome amp for the bedroom. And not disturb the other half.

How about this though.
Adding a headphone jack. We could get that great Trinity sound without anyone YELLING at us   :D :D
Even with the tiny chassis, you should be able to add that  :D :D :D
Great tube distortion and through a pair of headphones, I love it.

What do you think, Coco?

You could also use the jack to record! Cat scratch fever was recorded on a 7 watt Gibson.
I'll bet you could do that within the parameters of the chassis :D :D

Wait, my vote is for the TT, not the Jensen :D :D :D :D
Anyone else voting.
The TT's rule :D :D
Might add a little more to the price, but so ......

I just cant wait to get the Tweedle done ... :rol and the baby cab is already tweeded.

but first, we need to make bgroup a JTM45 with KT66s in it and a 212 extension cab to match their TC-15.

Sheesh Stephen, you're killing me :rol :rol

I still have to catch up and get the TC (this winters project) and then the Deluxe, the tweed Tweedle :rol :rol :rol (gotta love that name) is a possibility too.

Then I was waiting to see if you were going to do about the Tiwatt (Trinity Hiwatt :P :P ) and now you're doing a JTM for bgroup :happydance: :happydance:

You know I'd like a JTM, but the Tiwatt sounds really 8) too!!

Keep this up and I'll have to send you a couple of my paychecks each quarter just so I can keep up

Keep up the great work, looking forward to whatever you come up with next :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Wait just a damn minute :rol
How does bgroup have priority :hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm: :bugeye: :bugeye:
I want my tweedle   :D

Just because he's a successful sound/producing engineer qualifies him how :sneaky: :sneaky:

Us little guys gotta get SOME acknowledgment's somewhere/somehow.

I want my "Tweed Tweedle" :bugeye: :bugeye:

Okay sorry, I just couldn't resist

I'm working on Tweedle. Hoping the PT arrives tomorrow. Can take a stab at it with the Heyboer NOS OT design anyway.
