Our esteemed lbethune (lbet to some) and his band are playing a gig in Totonto (west end). He tells me it will be an all Trinity show! (18, 45, TC-15, Tone Tubbys etc.)

They would like to invite you and your friends to a celebration of old school rock & roll! Come out and listen to a collection of great 70's, 80's and 90's music that will make you want to dance on the tables!

Hope some of you in the area can make it. Below are the details.

I'll be wearing my signature Trinity Amps T shirt if you're looking.

How I would love to come, but Virginia is a bit too far away! If someone records some of the performance (with Larry's permission, of course), it would sure be great to see some of it via internet! Also, consider the historic value to Trinity Amps and its ever expanding sphere, as demos of these great amps (and players)!

Rocking from the far south,
Jim

The Tybone Schlock Band rocked Toronto last night to a packed house.

They played Trinity 18 Plexi, JTM45 and the prototype Phoenix.

Larry on Lead in this pic playing a Strat, used a 212 Tone Tubby Alnico. He used the 18 / Phoenix and the 18 had VRM #1 installed and set to about 50%.

Steve on Rhythm used the new Low-Boy 212 V30 with the JTM with KT66.

And here are some clips taken with a camera and ripped to mp3s ...

Crossroads
The Letter
Little Bones
Blues

No, you didn't miss anything. Phoenix is an amp that originally "rose from the ashes" of a Hammond Reverb Amp. Made two of them, one for lbet and one for me. Not a production amp.

I was there, it was a great show! The boys in the band can be proud. I found the vocal mics a little boomy, and had trouble hearing one or the other of the guitars sometimes. But I was off to the side of the stage, and Steve tells me that things sounded better from the middle of the room.

Aside from all the beautiful Trinity gear on the stage, I really liked the sound of the bass! Very punchy, plenty of low and mid-range tone, you could always hear him. Excellent player, too (I re-dedicate myself to practicing!). Gallien-Krueger head (probably not even tube...), I forget what kind of cab.

Thanks Lbet, a fun evening.
