Hello - I’m new to this forum but not a total newbie to amp building, I’ve got 6 or 7 builds under my belt, 3- 5e3's , an 18 watt marshall, a 5f1 and my latest is a 5f6a bassman. Im looking for another build and ive heard some really intresting sound clips of the lightning but I dont know what is avaliable , schematic & layout wise. The Matchless schematics at schematic heaven are not that good and I wouldn’t consider trying to build an amp from one, especially not being familiar with the circuit. So can someone point me in the right direction here? I also see a forum called the c@rmen G I would be intrested in going in that direction if there was sufficent info avaliable. Any links info or help of any kind will be appriciated! . . Thanks : JOE

Trinity Amps offers a kit which I just ordered. Seems to make life easier that way.

You can check out the links section, on the Trinity Amps website. Click Lightning project. Most verything you need to know is there. If you want a kit, we have them and the real deal transformers as well, butpeople have been known to build from scratch for fun!

There is also a CG Builder forum here. Check that out as well. No kits yet.
