hello

just finish to build today : it work so good
very good clean and break up well

but the crunch seems to be cripy and flappy on the tmb chanel
tried different tubes and different cabs

any ideas ?

You can use a 25 uf 50V on the cathode bypass cap for the power tube. How does the Normal channel sound?

Then the 25 uf cathode bypass cap may not help you. It's interesting because the normal channel has a 220uf bypass cap on the pre-amp and it has a lot more bass content in it. Yuo are using .68 in V1 for the TMB channel?

after some control and brainstorming :
the normal chanel work very good
the tmb with gain att low seting work good too , but when gain is up to 4 or 5 a bad distortion appair with bad harmonics and treble noise
like a clipping distortion
