Master needs to be pulled out to be engaged. Is it??

 I guess the answer would be NO!!!!!!

Funny, eventually I would have stumbled on that by reading the posts here, for sure. That's what I get for not building it

But the little bit I did play with my Tele Plus it was nice. The thing I like about the Tele Plus is that with the 3 pickups (Lace Sensor Golds), the guitar is a cross between a Tele and a Strat......

Now that i know how to work the amp....I'll fiddle with it tonight.

Now I need a cab for the head

Thanks Stephen!!!

Emo should have written a user manual for the TC-15!! Ask for your money back!!

Some people like to leave the MV out of the circuit. At least you have a choice!

BTW both the cut & MV are "Master" Controls. i.e. they affect both channels.

Enjoy!

O, and you can jump channels too! 8)

O, and if you want a head cab, save on shipping and get it sent with Emo's new TRIWATT 212 Extension cabinet he just ordered. 8) 8)

I guess I should have walked you through it when you picked it up!

You do have to pull out the knob to get the master to work. And it does work - I was playing it yesterday!

And yes - the knob does feel rather "light". I've discussed that with Stephen. I'm not a fan of that pot myself, but it's a quality pot & does the job fine.

I don't know if Stephen will want to include another head in the shipping with my 2x12. From what he tells me it's gonna be a heavy sucker as it is!

Oh - BTW - I did ask the man if he wanted to play through the amp before he left today. He babbled something about having to work ot some such so he was in a hurry. Didn't stop him for chatting for a while though! He even played my Godin while he was here & still didn't plug in... Some people... :D

In the first pick it looks like the chassis is punched for a noval (9) recto tube. Is this the case?

Oooo ideas!

The chassis was originally punched for a 9-pin recto socket. That's the modification I mentioned in my early posts. I had to ream it out for an 8-pin socket.

Ah, I didn't see you mention that, my bad.

I always thought the 18W and TC15 chassis were the same, guess I was wrong.

Good to know, gives me ideas for when I get around to building one of these. :D Seem like killer amps!
