I am slowly assembling the parts for Lightning type amp and am stymied with finding a source of supply for the 15 Watt 120 Ohm resistor that goes to the EL84 Cathodes. I have tried all of the major sources, Mouser, Allied, Newark etc as well as the smaller tube amp specialist supply places. So does any one have a source for this item or can it be dropped to a more commonly available 10 Watt rating as seems to be shown on Ceri@tone's layout?

Thanks in advance

I would use something a little higher. It's probably a better bet in your power section anyway. I've used 150R in the past on a lightning. It's easy to find too!

5 watt , 150 ohm would be fine.

And would also reduce the stress on your EL84s.
