The Marshall knobs we have been shipping with the kits have become quite tight. The knob manufacturer makes the Marshall knobs with a very tight tolerance so, you might experience quite a bit of friction installing them on the 1/4" diameter pot shaft. Don't force it. Back out the set screw and chase the hole with a standard 1/4" drill bit. The wobble in the drill will ream it out just enough that any standard 1/4" shaft pot will fit fine. It just takes a second to ream it out. Sorry for the extra work involved. For this reason, we'll be changing suppliers from original Marshall to ones with a brass bushing.

Can you send me a set of the new ones. I f'd mine up trying to fix them when I finished my kit. There is no way they were going on those shafts.

here we can remove the knobs from Marshall amplifiers is similar to that of any amplifier or guitar. the set of screw is present if a small hole or screw head is visible.

Tips & Warnings:-
1.here we should Always use gentle pressure when pulling friction knobs.
2. we need to Avoid full set-screw removal, otherwise it will be be easily misplaced.3.33.
3.we Don't over-tighten set-screws,otherwise it will crack.
