I double checked resitance measurements across each resistor and noticed one difference, the original resistor measured 470K and now reads 1/2 that after wiring (another in parallel maybe?). Anyway, here is a pic of the resistor in question. I'm getting a measurement approx 1/2 what it should be. The resistor in question is the 470K attached at the end of the sozo .022cap starting at turret 156 (the end of the middle board turret) from the end of the board containing C2 .68uF. Is this normal or has the resistor somehow been damaged?
Thanks.

If it's the resistor I think it is ...you have the volume pot (normal channel)across it. The pot is a 500k so what you're measuring is dead on!!
BTW 156 is the DC voltage on that turret not is number. That'll come in handy when you first fire the amp up!

Thanks Stew, greatly appreciated. I suppose I can assume all numbers on top of the turrets are DC volts from the turret to ground.

Yes I think it's safe to say that all voltages on the turret board are DC referenced to ground. The ac stuff is around the power tranny and the rectifier tube. Ac voltage a generally measured across the pair like for example the filament voltage is measred across the winding or across the filament itself... not to ground.
