Those look OK. could be how the vol & tone control are wired too.

here's a shot of channel 1 controls

http://i1018.photobucket.com/albums/af301/dcribbs1412/tc-15024.jpg

also on page 1 of this thread is a pic of the contour switch 2nd one is corrected values

checked under board and leads are correct (from contour switch to 330k resistor)

using a CC 2M2 and CF 330k
lots of hiss not a lot of volume
could a bad cap cause this?

can you bypass the tone control and go direct to the board? or try all the tone settings to see if its a bad cap in the contour switch.

tried all settings of contour seems to be consistent throughout
no real volume change just tone changes

bypassed contour switch(ran lead from 330k to pot) no change in volume

I've got a 150p to replace the 180p but I'm not sure that would cause the volume problem.

replaced the 180 pf cap on volume no real change

I'm interested in knowing if the master is set at around 9 o'clock
and channel 2 Vol is set around 10-11 o'clock (good chimey tones)
I have to crank channel 1 pot to get the same volume on both channels
is this normal...

Next up is change the channel 2 Vol pot.Replace 470k resistor on vol pot
Maybe replace the .01 cap where the channel 1 shielded wire goes.

Channel 2 really sounds good to me I find myself noodling far too long
instead of staying on task and fixing channel 1...

replaced pot 470k resistor and .01 cap on channel 1
no real big change but I am going to play it for a while and see
if I can get the hang of it.
Very fine sounding amp...I have to say
it's very different than the 18TMB.cleaner brighter maybe more 3d sounding
will post clips ASAP
