I built a little 1 watt kit a few months ago an now have the amp building bug bad. I would love to build a TC-15 but am worried about how difficult it would be for a second timer like myself. I've been studying electronics dilligently since that first build and have read (and reread) several amp books such as Dave Hunter's The Guitar Amp Handbook. Despite my study I'm afraid my skill level mostly requires a "paint by numbers" project. With all this said, is the TC-15 a reasonable project for someone like me. Thanks.

You wouldnt be the first 'first timer' to build a successful TC15.

I will go out on a limb, and say this - having built every Trinity kit that is offered...

If you take care, with your work, and follow the excellent manual and layout - and if you have anything that is not clear, ask before you take a guess... you CAN build any of the kits.

Assuming you can solder of course. :)

You basically follow the instriuctions, and layout. I hate to admit, but it is a lot like "build by numbers" :) Thats OK though, it lets guys like me who dont have a lot of electronics knowledge build some kick ass amps!
