after going through the headache of the bias problem, i thought i was done with this amp. one day i tried to play it and i have no sound, i look and see my pre amp tubes are not lit up. i flipped it over to check some voltages and found the heater are measuring 6.3 but the tubes are not lit. i figured i probably have a broken wire. i finnally got a chance to work on the amp and noticed that v1 is white, i pulled the brand new svetlenna 12ax7 and found it cracked at the base across 3 pins. i replaced the tube and im back in business.
