The top and bottom are hickory and sides are Kelobra. The trim pieces are curly maple. Sounds great! :D Thanks Stephen.

If you bought the cab, would you mind giving us an idea of how much it ran you? That is beautiful.

How does the lightning sound with that hellatone?

I've got a G12H30 1X12 here...similar dimensions...I'm wondering what my lightning head is going to sound like with this cab...

I really like the sound of the Hellatone. I can only compare it to another cab with 2 Vintage 30's in it. I think the Hellatone has a better, tighter bass response and maybe not quite as bright. I'm not sure how much the cab contributes to the sound. The Vintage 30's are in a Fender pine cab.

Great looking amp. I think the hardwood look is miles above the tolex thing.

The box joint gives the amp a great look with the contrasting woods, nice add.

I have been looking for that exact handle for my next build.

Where did you get it?

The handle is an Ampeg style that I got from tubesandmore.com.

Well, I'm officially in love! Moid, will you marry me?! Amps and cabs are community property here in TX!
