There is a speaker comparison thread in the dressing room as well.

Myself I like the WGS G10A in the combo, but I plug every cab I have in the tramp and I can always find good tones.

Looking forward to meeting you.
Stock speaker is Jensen Jet Blackbird, 100W alnico. It sounds very good.Eveyone has an opinion.
KT 66 is a nice option, stock is 6L6, but we can easily make changes to suit. New KT are decent. Shuguang, Genelax from New Sensor, Gold Lion.

For tubes, try: TheTubeStore

I highly recommend the "Genelex" RI KT66s. They really are excellent. I have a pair of Golden Dragon Rtro KT66s (basically premium Shuguangs) and they're pretty good too.

In my case I am finding that I prefer the 6v6 to the 6l6 and I use a used old stock rogers tube. Made in Canada no less and I just love the sound with everything dimed and pull switches pulled with P90s on the input. Sounds the best with someone elses fingers on the strings though.

Heard an eminence lil buddy on a similar amp and it had balls. But tone is what everyones hears, what I like you might hate. Its totaly subjective

With guitar amps and speakers, even a 15W rated speaker would run fine. By way of comparison, 15W Celestion Alnicos are often used with Marshall 18W amps, so the 10 to 12W of a Tramp would be no sweat.
