I'm in the early stages of a Plexi V6 build. I've got the power transformer wired up and am checking the voltages as suggested in the builders guide. I'm getting 8.4v at the yellow/white wire which I have terminated at the terminal strip (this wire is marked 5v on the tranny). I'm getting 4.7v at pin 4 (yellow wire) of the rectifier socket and 9.4v at pin 5 (white wire). The rest check out pretty close (my household v is a tad hot at 122v). Does this sound right? I was expecting 3.2v at pins 4 and 5 and 5v at the tag strip.

When measuring filament voltages you don't measure with respect to ground. Measure the voltages across the winding, in this case from pin 4 to pin 5. It should be close to 6.3vac. Don't worry about the 5 volt tap. It isn't used with this rectifier tube.

PS Stephen if you're reading this.. there's no centertap to ground on the rectifier heater so that 3.2v shown on the layout isn't correct!....is it?
