It is an ISP issue, so I'm told.

There is a php script in 18watt.com's BBS software which carries out some database stuff. It appears to have some kind of bug in it, so that it's consuming too much CPU time, so the ISP shut us down, pending a fix. The issue is being worked on, but the site may be down for a few days to a week or so....

Don't tempt me! Anyway, I'm sure you can keep yourself happy winding a few transformers while we get 18watt.com up and running again. :)

Yeah, Leslie is one of those people who has way too much time on his hands. So it's not enough for him to build his own 18W amps, he also winds his own transformers for those amplifiers. I'm still waiting for him to start making his own tubes.

FYI Mark Huss has managed to get 18watt.com running again, in a kind of temporary fashion, while more work goes on behind the scenes. If you find the home page isn't working, go to http://www.18watt.com/modules.php?name= ... d=newposts to see the latest active topics. From there you can also select individual forums.

It was off-line again in the evening, while more work was being done. It's back on-line again now. You could also try accessing ithe site via http://www.18watt.com/modules.php?name=Forums
