The clips at the link below were recorded to demo the range of sounds you can get with the TRIWATT and a P90-loaded guitar, just by varying pick attack and rolling up / doBwn the volume knob. They aren't musical masterpieces, but you get the idea.
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... ID=1123022None of the amp settings were changed in these clips. All were recorded in the linked channel. Settings were: Normal 10 o'clock, Bright 2 o'clock, OD engaged, at about 10 o' clock, Bass at noon, Treble around 2 o'clock; Mid at noon; master around 10 o'clock.
Cab is an Avatar 2x12, loaded with only one driver -- BBQ Thames. The other hole is open, making it something like a detuned cab.
Only effect is an Xotic EP Booster, set about noon.
Mics -- Shure SM58 on the cone. Large diaphragm condensor (a cheap one) set about head level, 6 feet back from the amp and drums.
Guitar is my brand new Roman Rist Workhorse II, loaded with a Wolfetone P90 in the bridge, Thorn GT90 in the neck. Search TGP and MyLesPaul, and you'll find out about these awesome guitars.
Enjoy.
