The diagrams provided with my kit as well as those linked to another thread I had do not actually jive with the way the holes were pre-drilled in the chassis.
- this thread: http://www.trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2318&p=20674#p20674
- led to this diagram in another thread: http://www.trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=763

The holes are drilled upper left (10 o'clock or so) and lower right (4 o'clock or so). This means that the open space between pin 1 and pin 9 for all noval tubes must point to either up (11 o'clock or so) or down (5 o'clock or so). The diagrams for all the 18 watt builds show that space oriented towards the upper right (2 o'clock or so). Obviously, the diagram orientation can't be met without drilling new holes, so I assume everyone compromises one way or the other.

Just curious, with thought to future wiring, how everyone else here puts in all of their nine pin tubes.

He sure is!!

I'd change the drawing , but it messes up so many connections. Should I ? Is it too confusing??

Not confusing. It's clear that the drawing orientation can't be done! :D

Maybe a little note recommending an orientation at the bottom of the drawing or something like that to avoid having to redo all the wires. Doesn't seem worth the hassle of redrawing everything.
