Hi all. I picked up this little gem on the weekend. It's a Mann GW90TRH head. It's one of the Garnet "Stencil" models. The Garnet folks figure it's mid 70's.
Very similar to a Princeton Reverb. 2x12AX7, 2x12AU7, 2x6V6GT, SS recto. Some of the pre tubes may be factory...the 12AU7's have "Garnet" stamped on them. The other 2 are labelled Westinginghouse. The power tubes are Sylvania. Neat little amp. It's not as bright as a Princeton, unless you engage the "bright" in which case it gets VERY glassy. Crunches up a little more when pushed hard. Tremolo is nice. Reverb is not as overwhealming as some of the Fenders (shorter 2-spring tank), but it does have a bit more "springyness" than the Deluxe Reverb clone I built last year.
The cab needs some work but it's just tolex. The rear panel is missing...assuming there was one in the first place.
I also got one of those huge Traynor 4x10 cabinets in the deal.
Anyway, some pics of the amp...
And I love the label on the reverb tank...
