Hi,
I built a new amp with your plexi layout and did 4,8 and 16 ohm outputs, how do i add an extension cabinet output.
I've got 2x16 ohm old g12h's that sound fantastic and one of them is in a 1x12 combo.
BTW the old ones sound to my ears better than a g12 anniversary but i don't know if the old
ones are going to cut through when using them live.
I'll get some more pics up,see what you think.
We had it running flat out for over 3 hours and it sounded great,it was up against another
boutique amp a lazy j £1200 pounds worth and i liked mine better.
Cheers.

Just install another jack on the chassis and wire it up in parallel with existing jack.
Have a look in the resources section, at the Triwatt schematic.

If i've got 3 seperate jack sockets 4,8and16 and my cab speaker is 16 which one do i parallel
wire to.
I thought i would end up with 8 ohm which is 2x16 in parallel,i hope that makes sense.
Thanks.

Ahh! OK so you have a separate o/p for each impedance! Well I suppose you could just parallel up the the 16 ohm so that you'd have 2 16s in || for 8 in total but that isn't going to be very usefull if you change cabs in the future.
I have a Trinity 18 combo and it only has 1 o/p. I built up a little plastic box with 2 o/p jacks in || and a short wire with a 1/4" plug on the end. I plug it into the single jack and plug the speakers into the box. I'm going to build another one that puts the 2 cabs in series. Maybe a series/parallel switch
That's all I got
Stew
PS I was just thinking..and maybe phil or Stephen will chime in..what would happen impedance wise if you just used one of the other o/p taps for the other cab?!

Put a impeadance selector switch in one of the jack holes and wire remaining two jacks in parallel. Plug the combo speaker into one jack and the ext cab in the other. Select appropriate impeadance.
Do it the same as the 18w schematic shows.
