alright, after looking at my amp I've figured out what I need to do to wire it according to the layout Stephen posted it. Its easier just to reverse the sides that the connections are on. that way I don't have to move the jumper wire. so the .01uf cap, the 220k resistor and pin 6 will be connected on the left. the carbon comp resistor, the jumper, and pin 6 will be on the right.

As i was making the moves something strange happened and the bottom/side of the cap with he lead attached just fell out. never seen that happen before.. probably too much heat/movement i guess. Anyway... could someone provide me with a link with a matching cap? I usually use mouser but their stock is so large I'm never sure that what I'm getting is the right thing.

Thanks guys. Happy holidays :)

Another thing. The "under board jumper" must not connect to the 220k/.01uf turret no-way no-how!
You see if you wired all the components on the top of the board correctly according to the layout diagram AND you put the jumper(under the board) to the right hand turret...your screwed. You'll have to rewire the turrets so that the top end of that .01 goes to the turret that DOES NOT HAVE THE JUMPER!!! or rewire the jumper properly which I'd do!

right. the jumper is only connected to the carbon comp resistor and pin 6.

the 220k, .01uf cap and pin 1 are on the other turret.

Guess I'm kinda stuck until i get another cap. :?
