I just finished building a tramp into the cabinet of an old Carlsbro SS combo I had that died. It turned out really well, except for some feedback squealing at high volume in 'tude mode that I still have to sort out.
I ended up keeping most of the cabinet's original power entry since it had a socket for the AC and a nice power switch (I replaced the fuse holder though). I'd like to wire up the switch on the Power knob as standby, by interrupting the high voltage transformer secondary. Does anybody know what the voltage rating of that switch is? Does this sound like a good I idea?
