Hello everyone,

I have finished building my kit for some months now, and have been playing a lot with it. I really love everything now, and all the world sounds quite different.
Only one little thing has been mugging me, I would like to have more bass. I do not know if it is from my speaker, a BBQ 12A150 that I had, but I think it could be bettered.
So I ask, what do I have to do to achieve this?

Do not get me wrong, it is my proud and joy!
João

In the resource section there are two variants of the V6. Which one did you build? I think the Plexi variant would have a little more bass response.

I don't have any personal experience with your model BUT if you go to the resource section and look in the sIII TMB 18watter... there are a few notes on the schematic on "fattening" the sound.

18W TMBs generally have a lot of bass - even more so with 6V6 power tubes. The main two thing that could however affect that are speaker/cab and the OT. Trinity's 18W clone OT has strong bass, like any high quality 18W clone OT should. That leaves thee speaker and the kind of cab it's in.

I have a cabinet made out of lacquered plywood.
I have to change the speaker and see what happens.

Also, this is my transformer. I bought it in Germany has I am from Portugal, and the postage was much cheaper. It does seem pretty good:

OK, that's a legendary Ingo Gorges (ak Shinrock) OT. They're the best you can buy anywhere. I also have one. :D Possibly your speaker cabinet design isn''t optimum, or maybe there's even a wrong capacitor value in your amp.
