Just looking to see what others did...

Did you...
-replace the standby switch with a switched pot, or
-did you get a normal 1M pot and drill a hole in the rear chasis for it, or
-drill hole in rear of chasis, leave rhe switched pot and essentially had two standby switches?

I see the merits in the rear placement...set it and forget it kind of use...
With the standby switch, between sets you'd have to remember where you placed it at soundcheck

I just got mine installed and working. I put in the back and I'm glade I did as I have found so far that as you turn the thing down there's a spot where it becomes too tone changing. So repeatedly trying to find that spot could be a pain in the butt. I'll have to wait till the next time I play to see if I require some different sort of or additional attenuation

You can reset the lower limit by changing the 220k resistor. if you want it higher, then increase it. then you can forget about it .

Replace the power switch IMO.

cool...thanks...just seeing what other did...will most likely just set it as the Power switch.

with the power switch, it's easy to set and forget during a gig...b/c you'd be using the standby switch the rest of the time...

there should be no issue setting the vrm on the bolt for either the tranny or on the can?

thanks Stephen!

The MOSFET for the VRM mounts with a #4 screw so no the cap can bolt or transformer bolt wont work. Both those bolts are sizes #6 and #8 respectively.
