Found the problem, I have a defective ALPHA A500K volume pot. Tried electronics cleaner and got great for a while however as you rotate the pot at 6 it is at it's worst. Going from 0-10 the pot is very noisy, I took the pot apart and tried to see if there was something I could bent to get a better contact because the electronics store only sells MODE mini pots.
That's the beauty of a make yourself own amp, it's very easy to troubleshoot
I am very impressed with the tones from this amplifier. Was money very well spent.
After I get the combo box and install my G12M greenback speakers, I will be in TONE HEAVEN
